We are pleased to announce an exciting newly created opportunity for a tax professional with 4-6 years of experience to support with the direct income tax matters for the global CCR business, including supporting and coordinating outsourced corporate income tax (“CIT”) compliance and transfer pricing documentation processes, tax audit and tax risk management, withholding tax processes and support with tax reporting under IFRS standards working in close collaboration with the CCR Finance team and global external tax and transfer pricing service providers to drive efficiencies, accuracy and mitigate risk for the business. This individual will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the business across all functions and jurisdictions and relevant outside service providers.

 

In this role, the individual will be accountable for ensuring accuracy and completion of all filings of CIT returns and compliance with transfer pricing requirements on a global basis with support from outside service providers.  Furthermore, this individual will also be expected to support with developing processes and control frameworks that will drive improved business accuracy and efficiency in direct tax compliance, withholding taxes and risk management activities.

This position reports to the CCR Direct Tax Matters Lead based in NL.

Zodpovědnosti

  • Manage and support the CIT return compliance delivery process and transfer pricing documentation processes on a day-to-day basis, including managing the external global direct tax service providers in providing top-class compliance and documentation support to the business
  • Manage and support risk management for tax matters including tax audits and queries by tax authorities with support from the Finance team and external advisors
  • Maintain and improve processes to govern withholding taxes globally
  • Support the CCR finance team with respect to providing advice on income tax accounting matters including current and deferred tax reporting under IFRS
  • Continue to develop a tax control framework and processes to drive accuracy and efficiency in the direct tax compliance delivery
  • Liaise with the CCR finance organization to provide requisite data, documents, information for the preparation of the CIT returns and transfer pricing documentation
  • Coordinate between external service provider and internal contributors on issue resolution during the direct tax compliance delivery process
  • Monitor and update compliance tracker tool
  • Follow up with internal contributors to ensure timely responses to requests and completion of CIT returns filings
  • Act as central point of contact for direct tax compliance and tax audit, and transfer pricing matters under direction of the Direct Tax Matters Lead for CCR
  • Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with other members of the finance, tax and treasury team, as well as other business functions as appropriate and necessary in the performance of day-to-day work
  • Manage relationships with outside advisors

Kvalifikace

Education / Certifications:

 

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Project Management or other financial discipline
  • Graduate degree or other tax qualification, desired.

 

Experience / Qualifications:

 

  • 4-6years experience in direct tax compliance and/or reporting matters and some project management in tax
  • Prior experience with supporting a direct tax compliance center in an in-house role or international accounting firm would be advantageous
  • Good understanding of the direct tax compliance requirements and processes in EMEA and globally
  • Experience in working with numerous ERP systems (i.e., SAP, JDE, Oracle) is a plus point
  • Fluency in English is mandatory (any other European language is considered an asset)
  • Occasional travel may be requested
