The RTR team lead will be responsible for any combination of the below responsibilities:
- Work with Finance controller
- Monitor, manage and trouble-shoot issues with team workload, allowing GL team be flexible in meeting customer demand to agreed Service Levels
- Communication month end calendar and deadlines
- Oversee the month end process
- Escalation potential delays to the Finance controller
- Manage the resources accordingly to the month end deadlines
- Perform timely approvals for journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage and resolve reconciliation variances through the team
- General support to other teams members as business demand requires
- Approve and sign off all periodic returns e.g. VAT
- Approve and obtain entity sign off on the HFM loads
- Lead resource planning and balancing, including of recruitment & productivity initiatives
- Own controls, and ensure audit cycles are executed in a timely manner
- Cooperate with internal/external audit, tax advisors to complete audit and tax deliverables
- Be accountable for the attainment of KPIs
- Drive operational process improvement, supports strategic improvements
