Join our Cabinets Platform Sourcing team and take end-to-end ownership of designated direct materials and tooling. You’ll report functionally to the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, Cabinets, driving supplier performance, cost improvements, and supply continuity across multiple plants and projects.
Own commodity sourcing for direct materials & tools: strategy, supplier selection, negotiations, and performance.
Negotiate commercial terms (pricing, lead times, delivery & Incoterms) and secure cost, quality, and service targets.
Improve processes & reporting: standardize ways of working, deliver clear dashboards, and track KPIs.
Introduce new suppliers: lead market intelligence, commercial due diligence, initial quality & financial assessments with QA/Finance.
Report results: deliver bi-weekly spend and savings updates; highlight risks and opportunities.
Lead sourcing projects end-to-end, collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Finance, and Logistics.
Partner with R&D on NPI/NPL: source for new product launches, order prototypes/samples, and meet project milestones.
Manage supplier relationships: develop the supplier base, conduct market analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
Build commodity strategies with your line manager & category managers; evaluate and refresh contracts.
Ensure compliance with sourcing policies, ethics, and SOPs; promptly escalate deviations.
Safeguard continuity: identify, monitor, and mitigate supply risks; align quality KPIs and commercial KPIs in supplier agreements.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or related field.
3–5 years’ experience in manufacturing as a Buyer/Strategic Sourcing professional with proven savings and project delivery.
Strong negotiation, analysis, and decision-making skills; confident with contract evaluation and supplier performance management.
Problem solver: pragmatic, dynamic, and autonomous; able to prioritize and execute at speed.
Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.
Fluent English; German preferred. Additional languages are a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (especially Excel); comfortable creating actionable reports and KPI dashboards.
